Submarine Racing
When we fire off a request to the Universe, we can experience an initial flurry of activity - affirmations, synchronicity, co-incidences and mini manifestations galore! Then, before you know it....silence! All of a sudden it feels like your communication with the Universe has been cut off. When this happens to you, stop and take stock. Have you kept yourself happy, positive and in alignment with your vision? If not then go back to basics and you will be kick started again pretty soon.
What if you have been keeping yourself aligned with your desires and still nothing is happening? The most important thing is not to worry, as this pause is a totally normal part of the process, between the Primary Phase (signs, synchronicity, affirmations etc.) and Secondary Phase (actual physical manifestations) of the Creation Process. However, it can still be dangerous ground for the Law of Attraction practitioner. During this quiet period, the negative self can convince you that you just 'imagined' all the primary phase magic and that the Law of Attraction doesn't work! This is the reason why so many people fail to make the creation process work for them, yet this pause is so rarely written about or discussed amongst Law of Attraction teachers.
Instead of losing faith during these times, give yourself a pat on the back instead! You've done good work and you are on the right path as the pause in action is all part of the process. I received an email from Angela today with the photo above and the subject was Submarine Racing. I got to thinking (after I stopped laughing) how similar this concept of a Submarine Race is to the Pause Phase of the Creation Process. If you were watching such a race, all you would see from the shore would be calm waters - it would look like nothing was happening. Under the water though, you would see the race in all its glory, with sea-life scrambling out of the way and the vessels churning through the water.
This is a great analogy for what is going on during the quiet periods when you practice Law of Attraction. You may perceive that that everything in your life is just the same as ever, just like those calm waters. Under the surface though, the Universe is working hard and fast on your behalf to turn your dreams into a physical reality. For example, just when you think nothing is happening:
- A newspaper publisher may be considering holding a competition to win a new sportscar - incredibly exactly the same kind that you have been visualising.
- New clients could be investigating your products, but you will not realise until they get in touch with you.
- Your soulmate could be planning a trip to your town, but you won't discover this miracle until after you meet.
I am always amazed when I start to receive physical manifestations of my desires, as the syncronicity and co-incidence that occurs to bring them about is so miraculous. It makes me realise that the Universe works for us in such creative and subtle ways that should never be underestimated. Just yesterday I had a fantastic opportunity arise as a result of an email which I sent randomly (and promptly forgot about) around a year ago BEFORE I even put in my request to the Universe! Somehow, it got into the right hands at just the right time and now something very exciting is happening, which could be part of the manefestation of one of my biggest goals.
So, when you feel that nothing is happening for you, remember the Submarine Race and imagine that all the amazing things that are going on beneath the surface. When you focus on your desires and keep in alignment with them then the Universe creates it for you in ways that you never thought possible.
